OCEAPRO began a music business in 2007.  Our aim is to create a new style of music, OCEA-Music, which will be a mix of Japanese-Asian and Australian-Western music.  We are planning to promote Australian artists to the Japanese music market and vice versa, Japanese artists to Australia. 


OCEAPRO can arrange music recording facilities and crew (music producers, sound engineers, studio players and so on), music concerts and events in both countries.

RUSTIC PANS
Rustic Pans is Japan’s first authentic Steel Pan Drum Band.  The band formed in 2005 and consists of 7 band members who play a variety of steel pan drums ranging from Tenor Pan, Guitar Pan, Cello Pan & Base Pan etc.  

They have performed in approximately 40 live events and concerts around Japan and are well known on the Japanese Indy circuit.  

This impressive band of percussionists play a repertoire of music ranging from calypso, ska, and a wide range of popular songs from the Japanese 50s and 60s entertaining audiences of all ages with their fun and invigorating drum dance orchestra.  

Rustic Pans music is also regularly used in local Japanese radio jingles and television theme songs.

RIO
RIO is a young and talented R&B Singer/Songwriter with a Jazz influence, based in Japan.  His strong unique voice and hip style come together to complement his soulful storytelling music style which was inspired by time spent in America.  

Soon after his debut in 2005, RIO appeared at the 2006 Fuji Rock Festival where he was approached by major FM stations who played his music on air not only locally in Osaka, but throughout Japan nationwide, making him a popular music artist.   RIO performs over 200 concerts a year and has a broad fan base, popular with both the young and old alike. 

In 2007 RIO became a radio personality hosting his own regular program on major FM Radio Stations in Japan.
